Vinteloper Langhorne Creek Touriga Nacional

This wonderful wine from the Adelaide Hills leads off with blueberry, violet, star anise, and baking spice. With a uniquely rounded tannin profile coming to the fore, this is unmistakably Touriga. Combining the depth and flavour of a much bigger wine, it slides down the throat with alarming ease.

Another fine example of why some of the best wines coming out of Australia are looking to the varietals found on the Iberian peninsula and Italy - they just react so well to the climate! (Wouldn't we all...)

As an added bonus, it's completely vegan and has very low sulphur levels.
