Stroud (x Antur Brew Co) Top of the Bocks

For this awesome beer, Stroud Brewery teamed up with the gang at Antur Brew Co in the Brecon Beacons. The result? This Helles Bock - a strong lager which is paler and more hop forward than its darker brother, a standard bock.

There is subtle spice from the hops, and a smooth moreish palate. The malty character fills the body and is lifted by a delicate orange top-note.

As with all the best lagers, it was brewed and then allowed to mature and age for a considerable period. Specifically, three months - with this long cold maturation process allowing the beer to perfectly condition and become wonderfully harmonious.
