Orbelus Mitra Melnik

From the hot Struma Valley in Bulgaria's Thracian Lowlands PGI, this natural, organic wine is produced using yeasts native to the vineyards around the Orbelus winery and with no added sulphites. The region's flagship Broad-leaved Melnik forms the core of this wine, with able support from Grenache and Syrah. The combination produces a medium-to-full bodied wine with soft, dark fruits and a touch of herbaceousness, all highlighted with notes of bitter chocolate and spice.
