Michele Chiarlo Barbera d’Asti Nizza Riserva La Court

Produced from arguably the finest Barbera vineyard in the world. Appealing and structured, it is complex and elegant with layers of black cherry, cocoa and coffee. Harmonious, with a velvety palate and a long, silky finish.

Born in 2014, the Nizza DOCG is recognised as the summit of the designations of the Barbera grape variety. The vineyards which can bear the designation “Nizza” are found in the area of Monferrato which is historically most suitable for this grape variety. The DOCG was founded largely through the efforts of the Chiarlo family to have these exceptional terroirs, and the wines they can produce, recognised as being singularly special for Barbera's expression.
