Joseph Drouhin Macon-Bussieres 'Les Clos'

Located on the Mont du Mâconnais, Macon-Bussieres is a Burgundian region bordering Pouilly-Fuisse. This wine is predominantly about precision and purity. Partly aged in older larger barrels, and the rest in stainless steel, the gentle presseing and clay-chalk soils allows for a wine with wonderful minerality and an intensity of white-blossom notes on the nose. Classic Burgundy at a very reasonable price - and being Drouhin, only native yeasts are used and the vineyards are farmed organically and biodynamically.
