Ivo Yarbanov Syrah 'Merlin' 2015

A 100% Syrah fermented in stainless steel and aged in neutral oak barrels. Minimum fining and filtration were utilised in order to maintain the full, rich texture of the wine. This profoundly exuberent and classically modern Syrah from Bulgaria draws on the depth and intensity of the wines from the Northern Rhone and has benefited greatly from some time in the cellar.  Ideal with hearty duck dishes and delightful with a cassoulet! Only 4,600 bottles were produced.
