A style unique to the Cologne region of Germany, Kolsch is a beer which has been fermented using ale yeasts, but then subjected to a lagering process (cold conditioning). This produces a singularly drinkable style of beer - clean and fresh from its cold conditioning, but with hints of lemon and a touch of fruity and flowery notes from the yeast and hop profile. Dangerously drinkable!
