Famille Perrin Ventoux

This delicious, highly drinkable red wine comes from the excellent value Ventoux AOC in the Southern Rhone. Slightly off on a limb it offers a great terroir for great value reds - the slopes which make it so famous amongst cycling aficionados being equally as magnificent for growing vines.

The wine itself is fruit-forward, with red berry and morello cherry flavours to the fore, with hints of spice and velvety tannins for balance.

The Famille Perrin range of wines is the negociant line from the Perrin family - Rhone royalty, the Perrins are the owners of Chateau de Beaucastel, an estate which is arguably at the pinnacle of Chateauneuf-du-Pape. They farm all of their in-hand vineyards both organically and biodynamically, whilst their negociant wine is not, their love of the land shines through in the sustainable practices they demand of their partners who supply the grapes.
