Domaine Toupie Fine Fleur
What a delight! The Cotes de Roussillon (and Jerome Collas of Domaine Toupie) are best known for their robust reds. However, as this particular wine shows, it is also home to some sensational white wines. If you love white Burgundy, this is definitely a bottle which should be on your radar. Barrel fermented, the wine has a toasty nose and palate, with roasted almonds alongside some white peach blossom. The palate has fruit coming through in the form of greengages and crunchy apple, alongside soft spices and a long, creamy finish.
