From the producer: After you package a fruit beer there is always going to be fruit material left in the tank. Although lots of the primary strawberry flavours will have been taken into Crickley Hill there are other flavours left behind. Filling the tank with a second beer (leaving the fruit remnants in the tank) allows us to capture a different essence and dimension from the fruit. Most of the 'obvious' raspberry flavour will have been extracted with the first use of the fruit in Crickley Hill. What persists in this beer is more of a strawberry perfume, with some gentle floral notes and the character of other summer berries. This beer is quick and refreshing on the palate.
