A very classic Amarone della Valpolicella. Deep and rich for all the senses. An almost opaque inky ruby colour, with an intense nose of dried fruits and spices. The palate is full and decandant - damsons and bramble fruits provide dark fresh fruit notes, stewed plums and spiced compote accentuate the depth and richness. Spicy on the finish, with hints of dried herbs, citrus peel and a delightful bitter-chocolate note.
