Bunnahabhain 10yo (G&M Discovery Label)

Aged for 10 years prior to bottling, this Bunnahabhain single-malt whisky (part of Gordon & Macphail's 'Discovery' range) is smokier than one would usually expect from the distiller. Usually known for being an Islay distillery that uses peat sparingly to produce an elegant style, here is a whisky which has more of those smokey bonfire notes - all alongside the more typical lemon zest and crunchy orchard fruit (some of which might have been dunked in toffee...) Lovely drop.
