Artadi Vinas de Gain (White)

Artadi's Vinas de Gain Blanco is produced from 100% Viura grapes (which to my mind can produce top end wines to rival some of the best in Burgundy - and this is no exception). From vineyards of 450-700m in altitude, which helps to develop a fine balance between energetic minerality and ripe orchard fruit, the wine is fermented for two weeks in oak, then allowed to develop for over 2 years in stainless steel - with a proportion aged for a short time in barrel for additional texture and complexity.

These wines have a balanced aromatic and flavour strength during their early years, however, this becomes more remarkable through bottle ageing for those with the patience. Either way, you won't be disappointed.
