Brewed to mark the 10th birthday of Anspach & Hobday, the Brother Sean 2024 sees a return of one of their most highly regarded special releases.

Based on their original Porter & Stout Porter recipes, developed a decade ago.  The Brother Sean brings together the traditions of two great brewing nations: Belgium and Great Britain.  A robust base of English grown, malted, and kilned barley is fermented with an expressive Belgian yeast.  The result is a bold, complex beer with layer upon layer of roasted coffee, chocolate, and dark fruit notes; all balanced with delicate spice aromas and a full, rounded body.

Enjoy the beer fresh as a toast to the brewery's first decade, or lay it down for another - this is a beer that will reward in it's youth or after maturing in the cellar.
