Allegrini Lugana 'Oasi Mantellina'

Is Lugana an under-the-radar appellation? Not to anyone who's spent any time around the shores of Lake Garda, where these whites are de-rigeur for anyone after a decent white. They combine great acidity with full, complex flavour profiles, and this example is now exception.

Pale straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections. The delicate, understated fragrances proffer floral notes mixed with hints of almond. The palate is graceful, well-defined, taut and flavoursome.
