Dark black and red in colour, with a complex mixture of chocolate and roast flavours. The use of two different hops, gives the beer a complex feel and smooth finish.

*Simon's note: this is one of my all time favourite beers, so I was delighted when Church End Brewery decided to bottle some! Several years ago I happened upon this delicious mild at the Cotswold Beer Festival (the annual pilgrammage to Postlip Hall for those that know). Whilst I would normally try as many beers as I could, this particular ale really grabbed me and I couldn't stop drinking it! Absolutely scrummy!
